PhoneCam Is A Dashcam For Personal Security

The installation of dashcam cameras in cars has been increasing lately because it simplifies the process of doing insurance guidance when involved in an accident. It also now helps the police solve criminal cases with video recordings requested to solve the murder of Zayn Rayyan. Realizing this fact, the PhoneCam camera was developed by the Belgian firm Slimdesign.

PhoneCam is a small camera that is pinned to a shirt. When faced with a situation that is perceived to endanger personal safety, the user can press the record button. The lights will light up as a warning to people who want to attack them that they are being recorded.

If it still fails to defuse the situation, the record button needs to be pressed again which then saves the video directly to the cloud storage. Hereby any crime or emergency video recorded cannot be deleted from PhoneCam.

It can then be used as evidence for a court case. At the same time the person listed as an emergency contact will be notified that the PhoneCam user is in a dangerous situation complete with the last GPS location.

PhoneCam is sold at a price of around RM320 with a monthly subscription of around RM19 for cloud storage and 5G cellular connection.
