Update : Set is now operating as usual, and users can now redeem using it.
The Setel service which is often used to fill up fuel is now facing technical problems and is difficult to use – due to the high amount of traffic received by the application for the redemption of RM100 eMADANI credit.
Due to this, all Setel users are also affected, making them unable to use the digital wallet service. Setel said they are working to restore the application as soon as possible.
This is the first time Setel and MAE digital wallets have been selected for the digital wallet initiative by the government. Possibly because of that, the high traffic setup was not properly estimated, leading to technical problems affecting all users of the service concerned.
