Four models of Acer Predator Helios were announced this morning, but the selling price is beyond the reach of gamers. Therefore Acer Nitro 17 was also announced at a more affordable price and more conservative specifications.
Acer Nitro 17 is equipped with a 17.3″ IPS LCD QHD screen with a refresh rate of 165Hz. It is matched to chips up to Intel Core i7 14700HX, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 graphics, memory up to 32GB RAM and storage up to 2TB. The keyboard has four changeable lighting zones as well as built-in NitroSense Key and CoPilot buttons.
DTS:X Ultra audio system offers a complete video game experience. I/O options are Thunderbolt 4 USB-C, USB-A port, HDMI 2.1 and micro SD card reader. Internet connection can be done through Killer DoubleShot Pro Ethernet E3100G and also Wi-Fi 6E. The Acer Nitro 17 (AN17-72) is sold at a starting price of $1250 (~RM5809).
