Four gaming laptops under the Acer Predator Helios family were announced at the CES event yesterday. All of them are equipped with 14th generation Intel Core chips and are also matched to the powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series.
Acer Predator Helios 18/ Helio 16 is the most powerful model with 18″-16″ Mini LED screen with WQXGA resolution with 250Hz refresh rate. It is matched to chips up to Intel Core-i9 14900HX, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics, memory up to 32GB RAM and storage up to 2TB. The MagKey 3.0 keyboard is used with WASD buttons that can be replaced with mechanical MagClick keys or MagSpeed keys with rubber domes.
The fifth generation AeroBlade 3D cooling system keeps the system cool while the RGB lighting system is used on the keyboard, Predator logo and panel on the back of the laptop. WiFi 7 network is also provided to ensure fast internet can be enjoyed. Finally there's a Thunderbolt 4 USB-C port and a micro SD card reader.
Acer Predator Helios Neo 18/ Helio Neo 16 is equipped with an 18″-16″ IPS LCD screen with WQXGA resolution with a 240Hz refresh rate. It is matched to chips up to Intel Core-i9 14900HX, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics, memory up to 32GB RAM and storage up to 2TB.
The fifth generation AeroBlade 3D cooling system keeps the system cool while the RGB lighting system is used only on the keyboard unlike the above model. WiFi 7 networking is also provided along with Thunderbolt 4 USB-C port, HDMI 2.1 and micro SD card reader.
