Acer Switft X 14 was announced early this morning in conjunction with the CES 2024 event. This laptop is equipped with a 14.5″ OLED 2.8K 120Hz screen, chips up to Intel Core Ultra 7, graphics up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070, memory up to 32 GB LPDDR5X-640 RAM, and storage up to 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD.
This laptop has the ability to run AI models such as Stable Diffusion built in due to the use of Intel Core Ultra chips. In addition, the keyboard also has a built-in Copilot button as announced by Microsoft last week. In terms of I/O, it comes with 2xUSB-C Thunderbolt 4, 2x USB-A 3.2, HDMI 2.1, micro SD card reader, audio jack and Kensington lock.
It is designed for professionals and therefore uses NVIDIA Studio Drivers which are guaranteed not to cause any issues with work software such as Photoshop and Premiere Pro. In addition, the screen used passes 100% DCI-P3, Calman and VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500 color standards. Acer Swift X 14 will go on sale next February at a starting price of $1,400 (~RM6505).
