Apple is believed to have successfully sold over 160,000 Vision Pros so far

Apple Vision Pro pre-orders opened on Friday last week in the United States. This "spatial computing" headset is Apple's first new category product since the Apple Watch in 2015. Although the selling price reaches more than RM18,000 a pair, between 160,000 - 180,000 Vision Pros are believed to have been successfully sold by Apple so far.

This is according to the forecast of analyst Min-Chi Kuo based on the change in the delivery date of the Vision Pro which is currently increased from 5 to 7 weeks within the first 48 hours of the opening of pre-orders. But Kuo also warned that long-term demand may not continue as there is no change in delivery times after the first 48 hours.

This indicates that after the Vision Pro was ordered by die-hard fans, the demand from the public was not that high. For products like the iPhone, a change in delivery time can be seen after 48 hours indicating that there is a high demand.

Kuo now predicts that the target of selling 500,000 Vision Pro units can be achieved this year. After the United States, Apple is expected to start selling Vision Pro to the European market before expanding to other markets.
