Apple Reportedly Cuts iPad Pro OLED Production by Up to 30%

The iPad Pro with an OLED screen is a new model expected to arrive this year. So far the iPad has often used an LCD screen with only a few models receiving a mini LED panel. The new iPad Pro is expected to offer better screen quality, faster performance and minor changes to the design.

Recently, TrendForce reported that Apple may reduce the production of this OLED iPad Pro by around 20% to 30%. According to sources, Apple is not confident that it will be able to sell a large amount for this new model of iPad at the higher selling price. According to reports, the selling price may start at RM7000 for the 11-inch base model.

The new iPad for this year is expected to come with a new design, support MagSafe, use a glass back panel and be powered by an Apple M3 chip that is powerful enough to run video games like Death Stranding or Resident Evil 4.
