ASUS also introduced the new generation of ROG Zephyrus G16 2024 gaming computer in Malaysia today. It is developed specifically for hardcore beginners with a variety of functions available including a large OLED display with NVIDIA G-Sync and Dolby Vision.
For those interested ROG Zephyrus G16 2024 is offered in Malaysia with a starting price of RM9,999 (Intel Core Ultra 7 155H) at the end of January. Then it is more expensive for the Intel Core Ultra 9 185H version which starts at RM10,999 (32GB/1TB/NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060), RM11,999 (32GB/1TB/NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070) and RM14,999 (32GB/2TB/NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080) with availability in mid-February 2024.
For specifications it comes with a 2.5K 240Hz OLED screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. CPU options are available up to Intel Core Ultra 9 185H and GPUs up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 are used as the mainstay. In addition, it is also equipped with up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD storage.
Also included is a 90Wh battery, FHD webcam, 4 speakers with Dolby Atmos/Smart Amplifier Technology and 3 built-in microphones. I/O and connectivity options to be found include HDMI 2.1 FRL, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, Thunderbolt 4, SD card reader and 3.5mm audio jack.
The body design is also more modern without looking like a regular gaming laptop. The cover panel also has a Slash Lightning lamp in the form of a line that gives an interesting added value.
