Previously, there have been several reports stating that Bytedance wants to exit the video game arena, and is looking to sell the assets they already own. Today, they confirmed the matter, stating that they are in talks with several potential buyers of their video game assets, including with Tencent.
However, so far no final decision has been taken by Bytedance.
Bytedance already owns Moonton, which publishes the popular game Mobile Legends Bang Bang. In addition, they also have several other video game companies.
Tencent has not issued any comments regarding this matter for the time being.
