Through Chrome version 121, Google has integrated several generative AI features directly on this web browser to simplify tasks involving writing, organization and also personalization through theme features.
First and foremost is the smarter tab management feature. Chrome will recommend combining tabs into groups based on the similarity of the content being browsed. It can also suggest group names and emojis that can be used to make it easier for users to find them again later. To use this feature right click on a tab and select “Organize Similar Tabs”.
Next is the feature of creating your own themes which are more compatible and for each user. Through generative AI, unique backgrounds are generated through proms or given choices. Give the desired background style and mood. Google's generative AI will then generate a background for your custom Chrome theme.
Last but not least is the writing assist feature. This can be used to write a review on the Google Maps site or create a status on a preferred social media site. Write a couple of sentences and then select "Help me write". Chrome can then generate longer essays using sentences written by you through the power of generative AI. This feature will be rolled out in next month's version of Chrome.
