Good news for Google TV smart TV owners as the Fast Pair feature for tethering audio accessories will begin to be supported by this operating system. According to Google at the initial stage Fast Pair will be supported on Chromecast with Google TV dongles first before being expanded to all Google TVs on the market.
With this support, accessories that support Fast Pair will be able to be tethered to Google TV more easily as it will automatically detect the accessory immediately after it is used for the first time. Among the audio accessories that support Fast Pair are those produced by Sony, Google, Jabra and OnePlus.
As owners of Android devices, Fast Pair is a very useful feature because we don't need to press a physical button on the side of the new TWS for example to tether to the phone. In addition to audio accessories, Fast Pair also now supports smart watches such as the Pixel Watch.
