Google CEO, Sundar Pichai is now sharing with employees through an internal memo, stating that there will be more employee reductions in 2024, but not as many as in 2023. The partnership comes after Google began cutting jobs in several areas last week, most recently in the advertising division.

This reduction in workers is said to reduce the number of layers to do a job, and at the same time increase operational efficiency in some areas.
In the last year, 2023, Google has thrown around 12,000 employees from their company.
