As promised, today the government officially announced the P-Hailing RAHMAH plan to the drivers and riders of the ride-hailing service, as a result of the cooperation of various telecommunication companies. This plan will be offered with a number of telecommunication companies, including CelcomDigi, Maxis, U Mobile, TM (Unifi Mobile) and Yes 5G.
For this particular plan, it involves around 16 ride-hailing platform providers in Malaysia, including FoodPanda, Grab, BungkusIt, Shopee, LalaMove, Lazada Logistics, iHantar, MatDespatch, Parcel365, RideRunner, FaszFood, BeliBeli, iGoGet, GoGet, and also Go Log.
According to SKMM, under this package, drivers and ride-hailing service riders will enjoy internet services at a price as low as RM33 per month, with a data plan of at least 40GB.
This RAHMAH P-Hailing package will be offered until April 23, 2024. SKMM also said that all telecommunication companies will release more information related to this package on their respective websites.
