GXBank Begins to Offer Physical Debit Cards in Phases – Promising 1% Cashback


GXBank which is Malaysia's first digital bank started offering its debit card. It is issued in collaboration with MasterCard and is offered in the form of a virtual card (virtual card) or a physical card.



Availability is also phased with notifications notified through the respective applications. Next the user is asked to fill in some important details to complete the entire process of virtual card availability, after which can apply for a physical card.



Checking through the FAQ page there is a charge that should be applied for several things including issuing a new card (physical card) of RM12. However, exemptions are granted for all of them until December 31, 2024, or another date determined by GXBank with prior notice. It is also emphasized that you need to have an active GX Account to apply for this debit card. In addition, these savings are also not shariah compliant because the license given to them does not support shariah savings.
