Honor kicks off 2024 by launching the Honor Magic6 and Honor Magic6 Pro which are their premium flagship devices this year. Its design is no longer a mystery, the faucet has revealed itself since last week. With its launch today the question of full specifications is finally resolved.
Honor Magic6 Pro as the flagship model is equipped with a 6.81″ OLED LTPO FHD+ 120Hz screen that supports HDR10+ content display. This screen is matched to a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, memory up to 16GB RAM, storage up to 1TB and a battery of 5600 mAh that supports 88W wired and 66W wireless charging.
The main camera on the back consists of a 50MP wide-angle lens with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 180MP telephoto with OIS that can do up to 10X optical zoom. On the front, a 50MP selfie camera is used and it is placed in an oval-shaped camera hole. This is because the Magic6 Pro supports a 3D facial scanning system requiring a larger camera hole.
Talking about the camera, the camera bump on the back of the Magic6 Pro is huge with a 180MP sensor dominating the space above the lens arranged in a triangular shape. The device also comes with an under-screen fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers and IP68 waterproofing.
Honor Magic6 is equipped with a 6.78″ OLED LTPO FHD+ 120Hz screen that supports HDR10+ content display. This screen is matched to a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, memory up to 16GB RAM, storage up to 512TB and a battery of 5450 mAh that supports 66W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The main camera on the back consists of a 50MP OIS wide-angle lens, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 32MP OIS telephoto that can do up to 30X digital zoom. In the front, a 50MP selfie camera is used with it being placed in a small hole because of the 3D facial scanning system. Magic6 also comes with stereo speakers and a fingerprint scanner under the screen.
Both also use the Android 14-based MagicOS 8 operating system that comes with various MagicLM artificial intelligence (AI) features built into the device. This allows AI tasks to be performed without an internet connection. The interface is also given a new lease of life with more diverse lock screen customizations, and information display mode when charging.
