The Huawei MateBook D16 (2024) laptop officially entered the Malaysian market today. It was developed specifically for work use among professionals with various functions provided through it.
It is sold at a starting price of RM2,899 (i5-12450H), RM3,199 (i5-12450H), RM3,699 (i5-13420H) and RM5,299 (i9-13900H) through authorized Huawei distributors throughout Malaysia. Prizes worth RM2144 are also available for pre-orders made until January 18, 2024 for MateBook D 16 Intel Core i5, and until February 2, 2024 for MateBook D 16 Intel Core i9.
For specifications, this laptop has a 16″ IPS LCD FHD display (1920 × 1200 pixels) with an aspect ratio of 16:10. In addition it also offers a 90% screen-to-body ratio, 300 nits peak brightness and 100% sRGB color gamut.
CPU options are up to Intel-Core i9 combined with Intel Iris Xe GPU, 16GB RAM memory and 512GB storage. At the same time supports a number of functions that integrate built-in AI such as AI Camera, AI Sound Effects and Smart Voice.
There's also a 720P HD camera without a physical cover, two speakers, two microphones and a 70Wh battery that can be charged via 65W charging. I/O options are available including USB-C 3.2 Gen 1, DisplayPort 1.2, USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, USB-A 2.0, HDMI and 3.5mm audio jack.
