IQOO announced the offering of two new devices under the Neo series. It consists of Neo9 and Neo9 Pro which have many similarities in certain features. The difference lies only in the processor chip and the main camera configuration.
Through it the device is equipped with a 6.78″ 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. Also followed by the ability to display up to 1.07 billion colors, 93.43% body ratio and HDR.
Furthermore, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip is used on the Neo9 as the mainstay, while the Neo9 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 9300 chip. Memory options are available up to 16GB RAM and storage up to 1TB. Then a 5160mAh battery is included supporting 120W fast charging.
Another thing that sets the device apart is the 50MP Sony IMX920 VCS (OIS) + 50MP ultra-wide camera used on the Neo9 Pro. Meanwhile, the standard variant is equipped with a 50MP main camera (OIS) + 8MP ultra-wide. However, the selfie camera is the same at 16MP.
Both devices are sold in China with prices starting at RMB2999 (~RM1,943) for the Neo9 and rising to RMB3299 (RM2,138) for the pro variant. There are no details on its offer in Malaysia but you can still get the latest IQOO 12 device which is sold at RM3,399.
