Maxis has now announced an update to the Hotlink plan – for both prepaid and postpaid options, focusing on offering 5G network services through Hotlink.
Through the new unlimited 5G pass offer, Hotlink now comes with the option of Hotlink Unlimited RM40 which offers 6Mbps speed, in addition to Hotlink Unlimited RM50 which offers 12Mbps speed. Both of these passes also come with unlimited calls, in addition to unlimited 5G speed access between 8pm and 8am every day.
This Hotlink unlimited pass is also limited to FUP 100GB for the monthly pass, where after reaching the usage level, the speed rate will be reduced to 512kbps.
Maxis also emphasized that Hotlink offers a 20% cashback voucher for youth under 24 years of age for the purchase of a new monthly internet pass under the prepaid program.
In addition, Hotlink Postpaid is also present with a new offering, offering a plan starting at RM30 that provides unlimited calls, in addition to 4GB of data access that is divided equally between the use of 4G and 5G networks.
This 5G postpaid pass option increases up to RM70 per month which offers 140GB data access (with a breakdown of 70GB 4G + 70GB 5G).
For existing Hotlink Postpaid 60 and 70 users, you will be automatically upgraded from 18 to 29 January 2024. While Hotlink Postpaid 40 will be discontinued, where all customers on the plan will be upgraded with a data quota of 30GB (4G) + 30GB (4G/5G).
