Meta Confident To Attract More Customers After Apple Vision Pro Goes On Sale

The use of virtual reality, augmented reality or mixed/augmented reality headsets is nothing new. Many device manufacturers such as Google, Samsung, HTC, Xiaomi and many others have already offered this product before Meta Quest and Apple Vision Pro became popular.

With the Apple Vision Pro soon to go on sale in several markets, Meta is confident it will attract more customers to purchase their Quest headsets. According to 9to5Mac, Meta reportedly Vision Pro has influenced their thinking to be more focused in this headset arena. Meta is said to want to be the main alternative to the Vision Pro ecosystem, such as Android and iOS.

Not to mention the expensive selling price of the Vision Pro and the intrusive purchase method, it may drive away people who want a simpler and simpler headset platform. The question is, is Apple's spatial computing different from metacity or just the same, just different terms according to user usage?
