The Minister of Communications, Fahmi Fadzil has now ordered telecommunications companies to take immediate action, at the same time to overcome the problem of suddenly disconnected calls, especially in Melaka. This matter was shared by the minister after testing the quality of cellular services in Melaka.
Through tests, it was shared that on average, the internet speed for all providers namely CelcomDigi, Maxis, Unifi Mobile, U Mobile and Yes reached 100Mbps along the Melaka River Cruise.
However, throughout the test carried out using the route starting at Casa del Rio Hotel Jetty to Taman Pengkalan Rama, a total of five dropped calls were recorded.
Melaka became the second state where this kind of test was carried out by the Minister himself, after conducting the first session in the national capital for a day.
