There are also iconic vehicles from animated films that cannot be purchased because they are purely fictional. But if you're like me who longs for Kaneda's motorcycle from the movie Akira, it's now available for purchase.
The Bel&Bel firm from Spain is now open for orders for this Kaneda motorcycle replica. It uses fully electric power and has a lighting system on the same tires as the real vehicle in the animation. The electric motor used produces a torque of 520 Nm and can accelerate up to a speed of 150 km/h. There is no information about battery capacity and maximum travel distance.
Each replica can be ordered at a price of €24,000 (~RM123,000) apiece with €5,000 (~RM26,000) required as a down payment when placing the order. So for those who want to own this motorcycle since 1988, it can now be bought if you have enough funds.
