In addition to updating the Dell XPS series, the Dell Ultrasharp monitor is also updated with the U4025QW which comes with a 40″ OLED screen and a 5K (5120 x 2160 pixel) 120Hz resolution. According to Dell, the U4025QW is the world's first 5K monitor to pass TUV Rheinland's eye health standards.
The Dell UltraSharp U4025QW screen is curved but passes the 99% DCI-P3 color standard. Through the Thunderbolt 4 connection, a computer can be connected and at the same time can be charged with a power of up to 140W. There are also HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 inputs for connections that support high refresh rates. Four more USB-A ports with RJ45 are also included to allow this monitor to be used as a hub for various computer accessories.
If the Dell UltraSharp U4025QW feels too big, the Dell UltraSharp U3425WE is also offered with a 34″ screen and a lower WQHD resolution. This model supports USB-C power connection up to 90W only. The selling price of the Dell UltraSharp 40 Curved Thunderbolt Hub Monitor (U4025QW) is $2400 (~RM11,160) while the Dell Ultrasharp 34 Curved Thunderbolt Hub Monitor (U3425WE) is $1400 (~RM6510) starting in February in certain markets.
