No Windows 12 This Year? But Windows 11 Will Receive a Big Update

 


Microsoft is expected to offer Windows 12 this year with new version updates offered every three years. This new operating system is said to focus on AI by further expanding Copilot's capabilities. In addition to also wanting to focus on security and faster distribution of updates.


Windows Central recently reported that the arrival of Windows 12 may be later than originally expected. Instead Microsoft will bring a big update to Windows 11 first. The update will be named as Windows 11 24H2. It will be available to manufacturers from April and to the general public by September.



Sources say that Windows 11 24H2 will bring new Copilot features, changes to Snap Layout, File Explorer will again be changed, as will Quick Settings, Phone Link, Energy Saver and more.
