OpenAI wants to make ChatGPT the primary digital assistant for Android device users so that it can be a replacement for Google Assistant or Alexa. For now, this feature cannot be used yet but if the ChatGPT application is already installed - the icon for quick access can be accessed on the notification tray.
Most recently, Nothing is seen collaborating with OpenAI for fast access using ChatGPT. A widget has been introduced to be placed on the main page of the Nothing OS launcher. This indirectly makes Nothing Phone (1) and Nothing Phone (2) the first Android devices to have a ChatGPT widget.
