OnePlus 12 was launched for the global market last night. The device runs OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14 with Trinity Engine which can improve performance, graphic quality, smoother touch, and give additional features to CPU, RAM and internal storage.
What's interesting about this Trinity Engine is the HyperRendering feature that can force all scenes to be played at 120FPS. This feature is made possible by the Pixeworks X7 chip. OnePlus uses a frame interpolation method as if on a TV screen to make the displayed content smoother.
OnePlus 12 users can also enjoy HDR color display for all games played on this device. So far, not many Android devices have supported high frame rates. The OnePlus 8 used to partner with Fortnite for 90FPS support but that was limited to one at first.
OnePlus 12 will be sold in Malaysia on February 3 with a price tag of RM4599 for 16/512 GB. Along with it is the OnePlus 12R at a price of RM3199 which still has no sale date.
