OnePlus is a device manufacturer that was afraid to launch a smartwatch once upon a time. Then in 2021, 8 years after OnePlus was in operation, OnePlus Watch was launched with its own operating system that can also communicate with various popular services.
OnePlus wearables then evolved under the Nord series and now after two years OnePlus is said to be ready for the OnePlus Watch 2. According to Max Jambor, a well-known OnePlus product leaker – this watch will use Wear OS. Although Wear OS is still not as stable as watchOS, at least since Wear OS 3.x many phone manufacturers have dared to offer watches with this Google operating system.
The OnePlus Watch 2 is said to be launched at MWC Barcelona 2024. The details of the watch are still undisclosed, but I can imagine the Oppo Watch 4 Pro watch with a square screen will be slightly modified for OnePlus – we'll all stay tuned.
