Oppo And Nokia End Dispute By Signing Patent Agreement


 Oppo and Nokia have previously clashed with each other over the use of patents - leading to Oppo products not being sold in countries like Germany. It further led to various disputes in other countries, where Nokia wanted Oppo's products to be banned from sale.


Further to that, now it is seen that both parties have reconciled, and agreed to sign a patent cooperation agreement. Nokia stated that with this agreement, it at once leads to the stability of their patent licensing business.


As for Oppo, they will pay patent royalties to Nokia, including covering 5G patents. This at once resolves various disputes between the two parties, and will allow Oppo to start offering their products in all markets again without problems.
