Live Activities is a notification feature that was introduced on iOS 16. Until today, not many applications in Malaysia support this feature except for Grab which started activating it since iOS 17. Live Activities displays real-time information about self-driving vehicles or food delivery that will arrive at the destination users. Oppo is also seen offering this feature on ColorOS 14.
Starting with the Oppo Reno11 series, users will be able to enjoy a notification system similar to Live Activities on iOS. This feature is called Aqua Dynamic and in Malaysia, Grab is one of the first to support it. Based on the mockup image that Oppo shared, Aqua Dynamic can also display a graphic of a motor or car moving on a line towards the user's location.
Interestingly, Grab also supports widgets on ColorOS Shelf to suggest self-driving vehicles or food that can be ordered. If you are already using Reno11, this feature can continue to be used if you are using other Oppo devices there will be 41 more to receive this update.
