The new Redmi Buds 5 Pro and Buds 5 earphones are officially available in Malaysia today. The sale price starts at RM199 for the Redmi Buds 5, while the Redmi Buds 5 Pro is priced at RM299 with availability from 16 January 2024. Promotional prices are also offered as low as RM149 for the Redmi Buds 5 and the Pro version is RM269.
Redmi Buds 5 Pro is equipped with a 10mm tweeter for treble and an 11mm titanium coated subwoofer for bass. Then followed by an active noise cancellation system with AI adaptive adjustment, and CODED LHDC 5.0 Hi-Res for a more immersive listening experience.
Quick pairing can be done via bluetooth 5.3, which also supports dual-device smart connection at the same time. The battery used can last up to 10 hours, then increases to 48 hours with the help of the charging pod. IP54 waterproofing is included making it suitable for exercise.
Redmi Buds 5 is equipped with a 12.4mm audio driver pad with titanium coated polymer. Also included is a built-in ANC system that can cancel noise up to 46dB with three options given for Transparency Mode.
