Touch n Go eWallet GOremit was announced in July last year and it only supports 10 countries. Today Touch n Go eWallet announced that GOremit can now be used in more than 50 countries in early 2024.
Through GOremit, the sender can choose to transfer funds directly to the bank account or digital wallet of the recipient's choice. GOremit also offers lower foreign exchange rates. Users can collect points to redeem various offers through GOrewards.
Among the supported international digital wallets are bKash (Bangladesh), GCash (Philippines) and PayMaya (Philippines). Meanwhile, among the 50 countries where money can be sent are Hong Kong, Japan, UK, EU countries, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
