Samsung updated its line of Odyssey gaming monitors with several new models. This includes Odyssey OLED G9 (G95SD), Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SD), and Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SD) with OLED Glare-Free technology that is said to be able to reduce light reflection on the screen.
Definitely reduces distractions during the most intense gaming sessions among hardcore gamers. Improved experience with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 feature can display brighter color performance. Also followed by AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for a smoother gaming experience with low latency.
Odyssey OLED G9 is a 49" curved gaming monitor with DQHD resolution (5,120×1,440 pixels) and 32:9 aspect ratio. The screen also supports a 240Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms GTG response time.
Meanwhile, the Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SD) uses a 32-inch flat screen that supports 4K resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Just like the Odyssey OLED G9 model, 240Hz refresh rate capabilities and 0.03ms GTG response time are also supported by this monitor.
Both are also equipped with a new Multi Control feature that not only provides a smoother multi-device connection experience. It even allows users to easily transfer images or text across the Samsung ecosystem – including Galaxy Books, tablets and smartphones.
Finally, the Odyssey OLED G6 is complete with a 27″ QHD screen that supports a 360Hz refresh rate, a 16:9 aspect ratio and a 0.03ms GTG response time. All the products were announced on the CES 2024 main stage without details on the sale price.
