The Samsung Galaxy S24 series was officially launched early this morning. A total of three model variations were announced with each equipped with the latest technology, especially AI in giving more value to what is offered.
The sales price starts at RM4,099 (8/256GB) and RM4,599 (8/512B) for the Galaxy S24. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S24+ is sold at RM4,899 (12/256GB) and RM5,399 (12/512GB). Finally, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is priced at RM6,299 (12/256GB), RM6,799 (12/512GB) and RM7,799 (12/1000GB).
The pre-order session is open from now – 6 February 2024 with exciting overall prizes that include a RM500 e-voucher, 512GB storage upgrade, RM650 rebate for instant trade-in, 45% discount on other Galaxy purchases and 30% off Samsung Care+.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is equipped with a 6.8″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ LTPO screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. This is combined with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, 12GB RAM memory and up to 1TB storage as the mainstay. The included 5000mAh battery can be charged via 45W wired and 15W wireless charging. Next, the main camera consists of a 200MP wide-angle lens, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5X 50MP telephoto and a 3x 10MP telephoto. Also followed by a 50MP selfie camera.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 offers a 6.2-inch screen while the plus version has a 6.7-inch screen. The screen is a type of Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ LTPO with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Also followed by the Exynos 2400 chip, 8GB RAM memory and 256GB storage as the mainstay.
A 4000mAh battery is used on the Galaxy S24, then a larger 4900mAh on the Galaxy S24 Plus. Charging is now supported up to 45W wired and 15W wirelessly which supports the Qi format. The main camera consists of a 50MP wide-angle lens, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10MP telephoto. Meanwhile, on the front, a 12MP sensor is used for selfies.
Interestingly, all Samsung Galaxy S24 series devices will be given support for seven Android version updates and seven years of security patches. Also allows it to last for long-term use.
