The Ministry of Communications has now announced that it will focus on achieving 100% 5G network coverage in all Public Higher Education Institutes (IPTA) in 2024. This will simultaneously enable students in all public universities to enjoy the new generation of telecommunications networks – while further increasing their usage rate.
This partnership comes after the government announced that the 5G network coverage rate has now reached 80.2% of populated areas in Malaysia.
Today, there are still many users who use the 4G network in everyday communication, including for calls and also internet access. With 5G access, it is expected to open a new chapter – and the introduction at universities is also expected to open to various new studies that will be the result of it later.
