TikTok, which is known as a short video sharing platform, now seems to be gradually expanding the ability to upload long videos. After allowing a large number of users to upload 10-minute videos, now TikTok is also seen testing the ability to upload 30-minute videos.
This feature is still in the testing stage, and some users have already started receiving it. This at the same time makes longer and longer content to be shared, making users spend more time on the platform.
Indirectly, this will also lead to challenges against other platforms such as YouTube. The ability to upload longer videos is also expected to lead to new creativity, as well as new video sharing patterns such as TV-series and so on.
Anyway, for now it's just an early test, and it's not known if everyone will receive it in the future, or only a select number of accounts.
