University Researchers Develop Artificial Intelligence Technology That Can Resemble Handwriting

A group of researchers from the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) has recently been reported to have developed an artificial intelligence system capable of learning and mimicking a person's handwriting quickly.

Using a transformer machine learning technology model, which allows this artificial intelligence system to memorize the writing style of any individual with just a few paragraphs of words. The research group said that this technology could be used to help those who are currently struggling to write on their own due to injury or illness.

It is reported that this artificial intelligence technology can mimic writing in English and French for now, and these researchers are trying to enable this artificial intelligence to learn Arabic writing as well in the future.

Artificial intelligence technology that can imitate someone's handwriting is also seen as a new way to add flavor in the world of creativity, but these researchers also admit that it can be used for evil purposes, such as imitating someone's handwriting, signature and so on.

Because of this, they also say that it is important that security experts develop security systems capable of ensuring that handwriting and signature forgeries are caught quickly.

According to the Bloomberg report, the copyright of this artificial intelligence technology has already been patented by the US Patent and Trademark Office, which will help to some extent in ensuring that this technology is difficult to imitate by other parties.
