The Minister of Transport has now announced that users can renew their driver's license directly online through the MyJPJ application from February 2024.
With this step, it simultaneously simplifies the renewal process, and at the same time expands the use of the MyJPJ application as a one-stop center for various services involving the Road Transport Department. A rebate of RM5 will also be given for those who renew to a digital driving license – from February 2024 until 31 December 2024
Previously, last year, the MyJPJ application added support for storing the driver's license digitally on the application - and used when going through any roadblocks by the authorities.
