Vivo Y100 5G with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 has been officially launched in Indonesia. This device differs from several previous models that also have the same branding, both in terms of design and internal specifications.
Through it a boxy body with a fiber leather back panel is used to create a premium effect. This is combined with a square camera module that contains a tri-camera system in a vertical arrangement. The front panel is kind of perforated, and as many as two color variations are available which is Orange Purple/Onyx Black.
Next, the device also uses a 6.67″ FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel also packs a single 8MP selfie camera and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. At the same time it offers a peak brightness of 1,200nits, a DCI-P3 color gamut with 100% SRGB and a display capability of up to 1.07 billion colors.
The mainstay is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, 8GB RAM memory and up to 256GB storage. The included 5000mAh battery can be charged using the USB-C port and 80W FlashCharge charging.
The device also has a 50MP + 8MP main camera, as well as IP54 waterproofing for added protection. The sale price starts at IDR 3,899,000 (~RM1,163.85) for 8/128GB while the 8/256GB version is IDR 4,199,000 (~RM1,253.40) each.
