With DJI Modify the Process of Editing 3D Models is Simplified

DJI launched its three-dimensional model editing software DJI Modify this week. It targets users who perform 3D mapping and surveying using the scanning system on drones manufactured by them. This software speeds up the process of changing model textures, removes 3D objects such as vehicles from road 3D models and also quickly removes unwanted polygons.

Water surface mapping errors, and the existence of vegetation on objects can be automatically corrected using DJI Modify. This software is also compatible with the DJI Terra mapping system to produce more accurate models. After the 3D model is edited, it can then be shared with other software on the market as it supports PLY, OBJ, b3dm and more file formats.

DJI Modify retails for $1580 (~RM 7471) and can be tried for free for a short period via the DJI website today.
