The Xbox video game console has been launched since 2001. Although it has been around for over 20 years, it has never been officially marketed in Malaysia. As a result if there is a damage problem like RROD on Xbox 360 before, the process of getting spare parts and warranty is almost impossible. But recently the Xbox Series X console has passed the SIRIM site.
Usually when a product passes the SIRIM database, it indicates that its launch in Malaysia is getting closer. The information shows that only the "1882" Series X model passed SIRIM. This is the model with the latest 1TB storage. We did not find an Xbox Series S at this time.
Console fans have long been asking Microsoft to bring the Xbox to the local market. Only last year Game Pass started being offered to Malaysia but only on PC. It gives hope that the same service will open the door to the launch of consoles to give competition to the PlayStation.
