Following on from the minister's previous announcement, now Yoodo is seen to have updated their offer, and will no longer charge any fees for 5G internet passes.
With this move, Yoodo customers can now add a 5G pass to their data subscription at no extra cost.
Previously, the minister had announced that telecommunications companies would no longer charge for 5G internet passes – thus allowing local users to enjoy access to the new generation network without incurring any additional fees. This is also expected to increase the rate of 5G usage in Malaysia – in line with the recent achievement of a coverage rate of over 80%.
