42Geeks Land In Malaysia To Drive The Local And Regional Startup Industry




For any company founder who wants to build their business, two very important aspects for them are funds to continue the business continuity and also good relations in the startup industry as well as with local and regional investors.



In line with that, Endeavor Malaysia today organized a Tech Nexus get-to-know event together with 42Geeks, a company based in the United States that brought 50 investors and founders of corporate companies and MNCs from the United States, Ar


ab Saudi, Brazil, Japan, Singapore and others to visit regions where the start-up industry is growing to find investment and also new contacts.



Kuala Lumpur is the third stop for 42Geeks after being based in Jakarta and Singapore since February 21, 2024. The group, consisting of founders Dave McClure and Chok Ooi as well as a number of founders and investors from the United States landed in Malaysia on February 27 and will be here until March 1, 2024 and will meet with more than a hundred founders of local start-up companies.


To give 42Geeks some insight into how the Malaysian startup industry operates, Endeavor Malaysia has also featured the services of some individuals who are no strangers to this arena, such as Ong Kian-Ming, former Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, Chen Chow Yeoh, founder of Fave Group, Shahril Hamdan, founder and managing director of Watchtower Advisory, Tun Alizakri Alias, chairman of MAVCAP and Joel Neoh, founder of Says.com.



During the Tech Nexus event that took place at Common Ground KL Eco City, the 42Geeks group met with 150 event participants who were also the owners and founders of start-up companies themselves.
