AI Pin Announces Customer Delay in Receiving Product

Humane launched the AI Pin which is one of the first AI devices on the market to be worn directly on a shirt like a pin. It's trying to sell the idea of a device that doesn't need to be held, is reactive to voice commands, understands hand gestures and has a built-in projector. According to The Verge, Humane announced to customers who have placed their orders that they will receive the product later than the original date.

It will only arrive in the hands of buyers in mid-April instead of March as promised. As compensation, customers who purchase AI Pin before March 31 will be given a free subscription to the service for three months. After purchasing the $699 AI Pin, Humane charges a subscription of $24 per month.

AI PIn is the first wave of true AI devices with OpenAI also looking to produce a similar product with the help of Sir Jony Ive. In Malaysia the first AI device is the Samsung Galaxy S24. Manufacturers such as Honor, Oppo, Vivo and more will also be offering their AI-powered smartphones in Malaysia in the coming months.
