There are many benefits of AI in everyday life including simplifying the shopping experience. Most recently support for a new AI-based virtual assistant called Rufus has been announced by Amazon.com Inc.
Basically, Rufus is a Chatbot designed to provide a more effective and enjoyable shopping experience. It can answer customer questions about as products listed on Amazon. At the same time, the generative AI that supports it has been trained using Amazon's product catalog.
It doesn't matter if it's in the form of an opinion or a product comparison. Rufus will try to provide the best answers based on relevant information sources on the Amazon website such as review updates, and community Q&As.
This is indirectly very helpful in pleasing customers to find the best product according to their needs. For now, too, Rufus is in beta testing in a small group of users in the US, before a wider rollout in the coming weeks.
