Apple Vision Pro Begins To Be Returned By Buyers Due To Various Issues

Almost two weeks ago Apple Vision Pro began to be offered in the United States with reports of over 160,000 headsets successfully sold. This is seen as a success for a first generation product and the price reaches RM18,000 a pair. But now on social media quite a few buyers are saying they will return the Vision Pro due to some issues.

Most buyers complained of discomfort due to the relatively heavy Vision Pro. The pressure on the face makes it uncomfortable to wear for a long time. In more serious cases, buyers say it starts to hurt the face after only 10 minutes of use. Some of the light seal pads offered by Apple are still not comfortable enough and allow light to enter the interior of the headset.

The second gripe is that there aren't many useful apps to use at this point. Apple says more than 600 apps are available. Many apps are paid but only fun to use for a while.

Some users say that the application in Vision Pro is not sharp enough to use due to the foviated view system used. Foviated view only provides a sharp image on the part that the eye looks at, making other areas appear blurry.

Last but not least is the Vision Pro's relatively high price factor. With limited applications, and less comfortable to wear for a long period of time, the buyer chose to return the Vision Pro. In the United States, purchased products can be returned without giving a reason within 14 days of purchase. Maybe what Mark Zuckerberg said yesterday is true. At this time Meta Quest 3 is a more worthwhile product because of the variety of features and the more affordable price.
