Have you ever forgotten your passcode/pin, password or gesture pattern on your smartphone? An easy solution is to reformat the device or take it to a customer service center with proof of ownership for further assistance. But with Apple Vision Pro, if you forget the passcode – only one method is given which is to bring it back to the Apple Store.
Vision Pro uses a new biometric system called Optic ID that scans the user's eyes as identity verification. Optic ID can unlock the device automatically, but when the device runs out of battery and has been restarted – a passcode must be entered.
Users need to bring the Vision Pro to an Apple Store because this headset does not support data transfer for users to backup or manage the device using a MacBook or other device. Not only that, the Vision Pro also doesn't have a Find My feature – meaning that when the headset goes missing you can't find it yourself.
There is no doubt that the Apple Vision Pro is one of the most expensive Apple products to own. First to try or buy, users must make an appointment and have a head scan. This headset cannot be purchased directly like other Apple products.
