An update to one of the compact premium class gaming laptops from ASUS ROG, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 has now arrived in the local market.
Featuring a 14″ ROG Nebula Display OLED screen with a resolution of 2880×1800 with a refresh rate of 120Hz, this display is capable of processing 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut and has a brightness value of 500 nits and supports DisplayHDR True Black 500 technology.
Powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS processing chip, this laptop is also loaded with a choice of 16/32GB DDR5 memory and 512GB/1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage depending on the graphics card configuration chosen.
Speaking of which, this laptop comes with a choice of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 graphics cards that can be loaded into an aluminum frame that comes with a brand new design to ensure that this laptop can load these powerful components and also a cooling system that needed to ensure it always works at an optimal rate.
This more compact design allows for a larger looking laptop keyboard, an easier-to-use touchpad, and a louder speaker as well. A new change that can be seen on this laptop is also the use of ROG Slash Lighting Array lighting that replaces the AniMe Matrix lighting system on previous models.
In terms of input and output, this laptop comes with one USB-4 Type-C plug, one USB 3.2 Type-C plug, two USB 3.2 Type-A plugs, one HDMI 2.1 plug, one MicroSD card reader and one audio plug. It is also equipped with a 73Wh battery that promises a relatively long battery life.
ASUS Malaysia says that the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 laptop is already available in the Malaysian market with two configuration options. First is the model with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card and 32GB memory and 1TB storage at a price of RM8999. The second model is equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 graphics card and 16GB memory and 512GB storage at a price of RM7999.
Both models come in Eclipse Gray and Platinum White color options.
