Bose Ultra Open Earbuds are open earphones with an earring design. It was developed specifically for those who want to be aware of their surroundings even while listening to music. At the beginning only the design and some features were shared. But now it is officially announced with full specifications and price.
These earphones are available in two color options namely Black and White Smoke. In addition to offering a light body for long-lasting comfort. It also features OpenAudio technology, which Bose says allows sound to be sent directly to the user's ears for a high-quality audio experience. Followed by Bose Immersive Audio technology for spatial audio support.
Users can also control the earphones through a multi-function button, be it for playback, pause, skip, adjust audio volume and more. Use with the Bose Music app is highly recommended for more personalized audio customization with adjustable EQ settings.
Quick pairing can be made via bluetooth 5.3, which can also be connected to selected Bose smart speakers via Bose SimpleSync technology. The included battery can last up to 7.5 hours on a single charge, or increase to 19.5 hours with the help of a charging pod. It is also IPX4 waterproof and sells for $299 (~RM1,427) a pair.
