Delivery Hero has now announced that they have terminated and canceled various discussions involving the sale of the FoodPanda business in several markets, including Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos.
Previously, Delivery Hero aimed for sales discussions to yield good results - but it was seen that they did not reach an agreement on the terms of sale between both parties, the seller and the buyer.
At the same time, business in the Southeast Asian region is expected to show healthy growth for FoodPanda, and may lead to profitability. Delivery Hero also stated that they are still open to any cooperation and sales opportunities.
