Geely has now made a surprise by announcing that it has launched as many as 11 low-orbit satellites to date, in an effort to offer more accurate navigation for its self-driving cars. Geely aims to launch around 72 satellites by 2025.

Geely had previously launched their first satellite in June 2022. In addition to offering precision in navigation, this satellite is also expected to offer high-resolution remote sensing imaging through it.
In total, Geely aims to launch a total of 240 low-orbit satellites, and form its own constellation in offering a number of services to users of their products.
