With the rebranding of Bard to Gemini today, Google also announced access to Gemini Advanced powered by the Gemini Ultra 1.0 model. Gemini Ultra 1.0 was announced last December as Google's most powerful AI model to date. As promised, Gemini Ultra 1.0 is accessible to customers who need higher capabilities than the previous Gemini Pro model only.
Gemini Advanced is powerful enough to write the code needed to produce an application. Next it can function as a personal tutor that teaches a specific subject to the user. Its other ability is that it can suggest topics that can be explored by content producers or writers. Starting today Gemini Advanced can be used in 150 countries in English first.
Simultaneously with this announcement, a new plan rand new Google One AI Premium Plan is offered at a price of RM97.99 per month and it can be used for free for the first two months. Customers will be able to access Google's most powerful AI and 2TB of cloud storage. Later customers will also be able to use Gemini in other Google services such as Gmail, Docs, Sheets and more. Only the dedicated 2TB plan includes this Gemini Advanced support, and it is not currently offered separately.
